Sounds like one I will like.  Thanks.

I've been preoccupied and stressed car shopping.  I need to calm down this weekend and watch some movies.

I'll be back....

What I found interesting about this one was the husband was a complete liar and conman towards his wife, yet she still tried to help him. What I don't know is why she bothered too...lol.

H, it was a different time.  I think many women put up with things like this.  Don't forget, they didn't work and if they got a divorce, which was still a fairly uncommon thing, they would have to fend for themselves.  Times have changed in many ways.  Better in some ways and not in others.

I like the way he was trying to choke the neighbor and didn't even stop when the police was knocking on the door so when they kicked the door in, he was still chocking the guy.  hahah

One thing was left unanswered.  Did they recover his suitcase where he had the mistress' diary?  We don't know if it had been loaded on.  That would definitely clear the husband's name.

Yeah that's true. I fully agree with then being a different time. I think having too many choices is what creates a problem.

On the other hand I prefer having the choices especially about going to school at a later age, changing one's career and I reckon more so for the ladies being able to walk away from a pointless or even abusive marriage.

Yeah, too many choices can be daunting for some of us but it's still better to have them than not to have them.

And even today, some women I know stay in relationships that, from the outside, don't see desirable.  Go figure.
