I love drums too.  I remember the Afro-Cuban drums.   They always appealed to me.  When I was young, my uncle gave me some of his old albums and one was called African Drums.  I loved that album.  In fact, I still have it.  I just don't have a turntable. 

Later in life, I discovered Tabla and fell in love with that sound.  I like Celtic drums too.  And Native drums.  I like them all.  They call out to some deep part of me.

Listening now (on a separate tab) and loving it!!!! 

Of course, it is making me think of the drum sounds of Hawaii and New Zealand.
